Tai O Bakery has fried its famous golden sugar doughnuts (sa yong) for some 30 years, drawing queues to a tiny shopfront on Kat Hing Street.
The deep-fried, sugar-dusted puffs are crisp outside and fluffy within, and best eaten hot straight from the stove.
