Long Ke Wan 浪茄灣
Long Ke Wan is a turquoise, often near-empty bay tucked below the High Island Reservoir's East Dam.
The walk in past the hexagonal rock columns is half the magic.
Don't miss: the trek down to the sand and a swim

Good to know: Bring everything with you: AFCD rates access as difficult and the campsite's only facilities are dry pit toilets, with seasonal stream water. Minibus 9A to the East Dam is suspended whenever a Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above is up. As of September 2026 the campsite area is partly closed for toilet works with a MacLehose diversion near post M021, and the East Dam rest area has been partly closed since 4 August 2026.
