If your idea of a perfect summer afternoon involves a bargain, a snack and air-conditioning, clear your diary. The Hong Kong Brands and Products Shopping Festival returns for its sixth edition at AsiaWorld-Expo from 26 to 29 June 2026 — four days of discounted local goods, street-food flavours and carnival energy, all under one giant roof.
What is the Shopping Festival?
The Hong Kong Brands and Products Shopping Festival (工展會購物節) is the summer cousin of the city's much-loved winter expo, run by the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong. It gathers homegrown and regional brands into one exhibition hall, where they sell direct to the public — often at show-only prices.
Think of it as a giant indoor bazaar: dried seafood and snacks, kitchen gadgets, skincare, small appliances and clothing, with samples flying and prices that drop further as the weekend goes on. For the city's permanent street-market scene, pair this with our guide to the best markets in Hong Kong.
Dates, hours and tickets
The festival runs across one long weekend. It opens on Friday 26 June and closes on Monday 29 June 2026, in Halls 5 & 7 via the AsiaWorld-Expo East Entrance. Note the earlier finish on the final day, and that last admission is shortly before closing each day.

What's on: the eight themed zones
Around 280 booths are split into eight themed zones, so it pays to plan a loop. Food is the headline draw: the Yummy Food Zone and a dedicated Southeast Asian Food Zone serve gourmet bites and fine wines, while the Chillax Zone leans into the laid-back, browse-and-graze mood.
Beyond the plate, expect leisure food, household goods, fashion, beauty and healthcare products, plus stage performances, interactive games and reward giveaways that give the whole hall a carnival feel. If you're making a day of it on the family front, our Hong Kong summer fun guide lines up more school-holiday ideas.

Getting there and free shuttles
The simplest route is the MTR Airport Express to AsiaWorld-Expo Station, which sits inside the venue — about 28 minutes from Hong Kong Station in Central. From there it's a short walk to the East Entrance for Halls 5 & 7.
For the festival, organisers also run free shuttle buses from MTR Tung Chung Station, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Mun, which can be handy (and cheaper) if you're coming from the New Territories or West Kowloon. Go early on the final Monday, since it closes earlier than the weekend days.
Tips for a good haul
A little strategy goes a long way. Bring a foldable trolley or a sturdy tote, carry cash for the smaller stalls (many also take mobile payments), and do a quick scouting lap before you commit — vendors often sharpen prices as closing nears, especially on perishable food.
Wear comfortable shoes, pace your snacking across the food zones, and keep an eye on the stage schedule for giveaways. If you'd rather chase end-of-season discounts in the malls instead, our Hong Kong summer sales guide tracks the best of those too.
