Western Monastery is a serene Buddhist complex on the slopes north of Tsuen Wan, free to enter and open daily from 9am to 5pm.

Its nine-storey Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda, lantern-hung halls and elevated walkways make it one of the New Territories' most photogenic temples.
