Hong Kong's oldest and largest Tin Hau temple, founded in 1266 and declared a monument in 2023, watches over a remote Clear Water Bay headland.

Each year on the Tin Hau Festival thousands of worshippers arrive by boat to honour the sea goddess at the shrine locals simply call Tai Miu, the Big Temple.
