A centuries-old Tang clan village north of the Kam Tin River, clustered with ancestral halls, a 1722 Tin Hau temple, the 19th-century Yi Tai Study Hall and the famous Kam Tin Tree House — a banyan that swallowed a stone cottage whole.

About 15 minutes on foot from Kam Sheung Road MTR; come on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday when the study hall is open and pick up the village trail pamphlet.
