Sam Shing Hui Seafood Market 三聖墟海鮮市場
A dozen stalls at this old Tanka fishing settlement on Castle Peak Bay sell the morning's catch until it runs out — pick your fish, haggle a little, then have a restaurant across the lane cook it.
It began as a floating market run from fisherfolk's boats, and the buy-then-cook ritual here remains one of the New Territories' best-value seafood feasts.

Castle Peak flatfish, grass shrimp and baby mangrove crab, steamed simply at a dai pai dong across the street.
