Penfold Park 彭福公園
The Jockey Club's beloved park in the middle of Sha Tin Racecourse has been through a phased revitalisation, with inclusive play areas, one of Hong Kong's best off-leash dog spaces and, since June 2026, the Pony World pony-riding attraction.
Open daily, though it shuts at 11:30am on Sha Tin racedays, it remains one of the territory's most unusual green escapes.

Good to know: Check the month's table before you set off — opening is pushed back to 9:30am on 29 and 30 September and on 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 October 2026 for extended morning trackwork. The park also closes under a Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, reopening two hours after the signal is lowered, and Phase 3 enhancement works mean parts may be fenced off.
