Cheung Chau's grandest temple, the 1783 Yuk Hui (Pak Tai) Temple is a Grade I monument and the spiritual home of the island's famous Bun Festival.

Inside, look for the Song-dynasty iron sword and the gilded statue of Pak Tai, the guardian deity who legend says spared the island from plague.
