Perched on the hillside above Bowen Road, the ten-metre granite monolith known as Lover's Rock has drawn worshippers praying for romance and fertility for generations.

The short, steep climb is rewarded with incense smoke, fluttering red ribbons and a quiet view over Wan Chai and Happy Valley — busiest during the Maidens' Festival in late summer.
