A 1948 Buddhist temple on the slopes below Lion Rock, its triple halls filled with giant gilded statues and the start point for the Temple Hill hike up Shatin Pass Road.

Far quieter than nearby Wong Tai Sin Temple, it rewards the minibus ride with incense-wreathed terraces and Kowloon views.
