How six-a-side cricket works
The Sixes strips cricket down to its most explosive form. Teams field six players instead of the usual eleven, and each innings lasts just six overs — a fraction of a standard match — which keeps individual games short and results coming fast across a packed three-day schedule.
The tournament follows a pool stage, then knockouts: after round-robin play, the top two teams from each group advance to the Cup quarter-finals, with losers dropping into the Plate bracket. Mission Road Ground, also known as the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, sits in the Kowloon City area of Kowloon.
