The Better 'Ole 畢打奧
A genuine time capsule, this British pub-restaurant first opened in 1947 and its surviving Sheung Shui branch still serves borscht, baked escargot and sirloin under a clutter of colonial-era memorabilia and old neon.
It is one of Hong Kong's last truly old-school Western dining rooms, a world away from the city's slick new openings.
