Tate's Cairn, or Tai Lo Shan, tops out at around 580 metres on the ridge between Sha Tin and Ma On Shan, delivering three-way panoramas over Kowloon, Sha Tin and Clear Water Bay.

Set within Ma On Shan Country Park near Fei Ngo Shan, it is one of the most scenic urban-edge hikes in the eastern New Territories, best in autumn and winter.
