Statue Square 皇后像廣場
Built on reclaimed land in the 1890s, Statue Square is Central's grand open-air living room — a colonial-era civic plaza ringed by the former Legislative Council (now the Court of Final Appeal), the Hong Kong Club and the Mandarin Oriental.
Split in two by Chater Road and dotted with fountains and shaded seating, it fills each Sunday with friends gathering for alfresco picnics in the heart of the financial district.
