Shing Mun Redoubt 城門碉堡
The Shing Mun Redoubt is a sprawling network of WWII trenches, tunnels and pillboxes at the southern end of Shing Mun Reservoir, the linchpin of the British Gin Drinkers' Line built in 1937-38.
Walked today as the War Relics Trail at the start of MacLehose Section 6, its passages still carry London street names like Charing Cross and Regent Street carved above the entrances.
