An easy, family-friendly loop at the foot of Shing Mun Reservoir, the Pineapple Dam Nature Trail winds through shaded woodland dotted with interpretive signboards and the resident macaques that draw curious eyes.

Just a green-minibus ride from Tsuen Wan, it's one of the gentlest ways into the country park — keep food tucked away, as feeding the monkeys is prohibited.
