At 353 metres, Mount Stenhouse — or Shan Tei Tong — is the highest peak on Lamma Island, rising above Sok Kwu Wan in a sweep of subtropical greenery.

The unmarked, rocky scramble to its summit is strictly for experienced, well-prepared hikers, but those who reach the top earn some of Hong Kong's most expansive island-and-sea panoramas.
