Ling To Monastery 靈渡寺
One of Hong Kong's three ancient temples, Ling To Monastery rests against the green hills of Ha Tsuen in Yuen Long, its origins traced by legend to the monk Bei Du some 1,500 years ago.
The present halls, rebuilt in 1927 and graded as a historic building, make a serene, rarely-crowded stop on the western New Territories heritage trail.
