Built in 1870 by the Tang clan as a study hall and ancestral shrine, this elegant Ping Shan landmark shows how learning was prized in the walled villages.

Now a declared monument on the Ping Shan Heritage Trail, its carved screens, wall murals and plaster mouldings remain beautifully preserved.
