A Kowloon City fixture since 1955, this Chiu Chow sweet-soup parlour is nicknamed the Lotus Seed King for seeds hand-peeled daily and simmered with rock sugar for hours.
Around ninety old-school tong sui fill the menu, served in a charmingly time-warped shopfront in the heart of the old Chiu Chow quarter.
