Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence 香港抗戰及海防博物館
Set in a restored 19th-century coastal fort high above Shau Kei Wan, this harbour-view museum traces Hong Kong's wartime history through redoubts, tunnels and a breezy hilltop heritage trail.
Reopened in 2024 as the Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence, it pairs original military structures with sweeping views across Lei Yue Mun; entry is free and it closes on Thursdays.
