At 647 metres, Grassy Hill is a gentle grassy dome on the edge of Shing Mun Country Park, offering some of the widest panoramas of the northern New Territories, from Tai Po out to Tai Mo Shan.

The gradual ascent from Needle Hill toward Lead Mine Pass makes it a favourite stretch of MacLehose Trail Section 7 for less vertiginous hikers.
