Built into the hills of Fu Yung Shan above Tsuen Wan in 1932, the 'Bamboo Forest Monastery' is one of Hong Kong's largest temple complexes, home to the three biggest indoor golden Buddhas in the city.

Free to enter, its multi-level halls and hilltop views reward an hour or two of quiet wandering.
