The family-run centre that raised Olympic windsurfing champion Lee Lai-shan still rents boards and runs lessons off Cheung Chau's eastern shore.

Its breezy outdoor cafe is reason enough to make the walk from the pier — cold drinks, sea views and a post-sail crowd, open 10am to 7pm, closed Wednesdays.
