An independent bookshop high above Argyle Street devoted to Hong Kong's history, culture and identity, opened in 2022 by a team determined to keep local stories on the shelves.

Reaching it means riding a lift up a commercial tower, but the carefully chosen titles and regular reading events reward the climb.
