Laid out in 1905 on land cleared after the 1894 bubonic plague, Blake Garden is reckoned to be Hong Kong's first public park.

Shaded by mature trees in the heart of heritage-rich Tai Ping Shan, it makes a leafy pause between Man Mo Temple and the neighbourhood's galleries and teahouses.
