Béthanie 伯大尼修院
Built by the Paris Foreign Missions Society in 1875 and now a declared monument, Béthanie is a serene neo-Gothic former sanatorium turned campus of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in leafy Pok Fu Lam.
Guided tours take in the stained-glass chapel, the octagonal Wellcome Theatre converted from old cowsheds, and a small museum tracing the building's nearly 150-year history.
