Post Malone did not play Kai Tak Stadium on 16 September 2026. The show was postponed before it happened, no replacement date has been announced, and every ticketing platform that sold it has been refunding buyers automatically since late August. This page used to be our preview of that concert. It is now a record of what happened to it and what to do if the money has not reached you.
What Live Nation actually said
The promoter's notice is short. Live Nation Hong Kong's event page states that the Hong Kong date of The BIG Stadium Tour, scheduled for 16 September 2026 at Kai Tak Stadium, has been postponed. It gives no reason, and it names no replacement date. That page is still live, which is why the show keeps turning up in search results as though it were coming.
Read the wording carefully, because postponed and cancelled are not the same thing in ticketing terms. A postponement with no new date leaves the promoter free to announce one later, and that is the position here as of 28 September 2026. What it does not do is leave ticket holders waiting: the refund process began without any new date being set.

Where your refund is, if it has not landed
The two refund clocks are set to different lengths, and both are counted in working days rather than calendar days. That is the detail that causes most of the confusion.
A Damai buyer was promised 10 working days from 27 August 2026, which ran out in the second week of September. If you bought through Damai and nothing has arrived, the delay is no longer normal and it is worth contacting the platform.
An HK Ticketing buyer was promised 20 to 30 working days from 4 September 2026. Thirty working days from that date is six calendar weeks, so the outer edge of that promise falls in the third week of October 2026. Money that has not appeared by late September is not evidence of a problem yet.
One failure mode is worth knowing about because it does not resolve itself. These refunds go back to the payment method used at purchase. If that card has since expired, been replaced after a loss, or belonged to an account you have closed, an automatic refund can bounce without anyone telling you. Tickets bought in April or May 2026 are old enough for that to be a real possibility. HK Ticketing's customer line is +852 3128 8288, open 10am to 8pm daily, and its email is online@hkticketing.com. Have the booking reference from the original confirmation to hand.

What is on at Kai Tak Stadium instead?
The stadium's autumn is not thin, which is some consolation if you had blocked out a Wednesday night in September.
The Weeknd brings the After Hours Til Dawn Tour to Kai Tak on 24 and 25 October, added after the original 30 and 31 October nights sold out. If the appeal was the room rather than the artist, the honest answer is that Kai Tak is a 50,000-seat bowl and the experience is nothing like a club show. If a new date is announced
There is no presale arrangement on record for this show, which is a meaningful difference from the other Kai Tak postponement this year. Charlie Puth's rescheduled April 2027 run comes with an exclusive presale for people who held tickets to the original October 2026 date. Nothing equivalent has been published for Post Malone, so a refunded ticket buys no priority if the tour comes back.
