What is Pici, and what's new in Yuen Long?
Pici is a Hong Kong pasta bar chain run by Pirata Group, the team also behind Chaiwala and Pirata itself, known across the city for fresh, hand-rolled pasta served in warm, antique-decorated dining rooms. The brand markets itself as "the world's local pasta bar", and this year it is celebrating its tenth birthday with its tenth branch.
The new restaurant opened on 18 July 2026 with a free pasta giveaway for walk-in guests, and is Pici's first foray into the New Territories after locations across Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. At 3,075 sq ft, it is also the group's largest Pici to date, with room for close to 100 diners across an indoor dining hall and an outdoor terrace. The interior leans into the brand's signature look: dark wood, deep-blue leather booths, mosaic tiles and an open kitchen counter where cooks hand-roll pasta in view of guests.

Hours and prices are correct as published by Pici in August 2026 but can change, so it is worth checking the official Pici website before visiting.
What's on the menu?
True to its name, Pici's menu is built around handmade pasta — rolled fresh daily at each branch, including the new Yuen Long kitchen. Signature dishes across the chain include cacio e pepe, ravioli carbonara and vitello tonnato, alongside a rotating list of seasonal specials and a tasting menu of two starters, three pastas and two desserts for around HK$290 per person.
On weekends, Pici also runs a brunch set for about HK$238, a format that has proven popular at its Hong Kong Island branches. Expect the same easy, unfussy Italian cooking Pici is known for elsewhere in the city — this opening is about bringing an established, well-liked format to a part of Hong Kong that has had fewer sit-down Italian options than Central or Causeway Bay.
