What is the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival?
The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival is the city's largest annual food-and-wine event, staged every autumn by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) on the open-air Central Harbourfront Event Space. Expect wall-to-wall tasting booths pouring everything from classic Bordeaux and Burgundy to Baijiu, whisky, sake, gin and craft beer, alongside food stalls dishing out everything from Hong Kong street snacks to Michelin-recognised bites.
The format is simple: buy an admission ticket or a Tasting Pass loaded with tokens, then wander the harbourfront trading tokens for samples at whichever booths catch your eye. Live entertainment runs across the festival, with the Hong Kong skyline as a backdrop.
When is it in 2026?
The 2026 festival runs for five days, from Thursday 29 October to Sunday 1 November, confirmed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board as part of its packed autumn events calendar. It lands during the same season as the city's citywide Halloween celebrations and just before Wine & Dine Month picks up the baton through November.
Exact daily opening hours for the 2026 edition had not been published at the time of writing. What's new at the 2026 festival?
The headline addition for 2026 is “Only in Hong Kong” Flavours, a new festival section built entirely around the city's own dining scene. It gathers signature dishes from more than 100 restaurants — including Michelin-starred kitchens, luxury hotel dining rooms and long-running local favourites — giving visitors a single-stop tasting tour of what makes Hong Kong's food culture distinct, rather than just its imported wine list.
The festival's usual pillars remain in place too: hundreds of international wine and spirits booths, live entertainment through the evenings, and exclusive tasting and food-and-wine pairing experiences at select booths. Once the festival wraps on 1 November, the celebration rolls into Hong Kong Wine & Dine Month throughout November, when HKTB partners with restaurants, bars and hotels citywide for curated menus and exclusive dining offers. How much are tickets and tasting passes?
Admission alone costs HK$40 per person, with half-price concessions for seniors aged 65 and over, full-time students, children aged 3 to 12 and people with disabilities; children under three go free. Most visitors, though, buy a Tasting Pass, which bundles admission with tokens for food and wine samples at the booths.

Online advance pricing applies to purchases made from 2 to 22 October 2026, with an earlier discounted window for eligible American Express cardholders from 29 September to 1 October. Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival
The Central Harbourfront Event Space is an open-air site facing Victoria Harbour that also hosts Art Central each spring. There's no on-site parking, so the MTR is the easiest way in — the nearest car parks are at City Hall, IFC and Pacific Place if you're driving.
