China's biggest name in all-day dining-and-bar venues has just planted its first flag outside the mainland — and it landed in the middle of Causeway Bay. COMMUNE (幻師), the Chinese hospitality brand that has topped its category by market share for three years running, opened its first Hong Kong location, COMMUNE MAISON, at Lee Garden Three on 13 August 2026.

What is COMMUNE?
COMMUNE was founded in China in 2016 and has become the country's leading dining-and-bar brand by revenue, ranking first in its category for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024, according to the company's own opening announcement, distributed via PR Newswire and confirmed by a Hong Kong government press notice. In 2024, COMMUNE held an approximately 7.8% market share — roughly double the combined share of the second- and third-placed brands. The chain now operates more than 120 directly managed venues across over 40 Chinese cities.
The Causeway Bay opening is COMMUNE's first step outside mainland China, chosen partly because Hong Kong's dining, business, retail and nightlife scenes overlap closely enough to suit the brand's all-day format. The company says it plans further Hong Kong locations in other key commercial districts once it has tested the format locally.
How does the all-day concept work?
Rather than functioning as a restaurant that also serves drinks, COMMUNE MAISON is built to transition through distinct occasions inside a single space. Lunchtime is aimed at casual and business dining; the room then shifts into an afternoon-tea mode, before lighting and music change as evening approaches to create a more social, bar-forward atmosphere. An open, street-facing design at the Lee Garden Three unit connects the venue visually with the surrounding neighbourhood rather than sealing it off behind a traditional shopfront.
To mark the Hong Kong launch, COMMUNE introduced a selection of Hong Kong-exclusive food and beverage items not found at its mainland China branches, alongside craft beer brewed to the brand's own recipes — the format that first built its reputation on the mainland.
What does it cost — and what's the free-flow deal?
COMMUNE MAISON's headline offer is a two-hour free-flow package covering craft beer, cocktails and wine, priced at HK$298 per person Sunday to Thursday and HK$398 per person Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. Beyond the free-flow window, the all-day menu spans daytime dining plates through to evening bar snacks, positioned as accessible rather than fine-dining pricing — in keeping with a brand built on high footfall across multiple daily occasions rather than a single dinner service.

Detailed opening-day hours were not published at the time of writing; the all-day format is built to run from lunchtime through late-night drinks, so confirm exact closing time directly before a late visit.
