Cj Hendry is an Australian artist known for hyperrealistic drawings and, more recently, playful soft-sculpture installations that turn everyday objects into oversized plush versions of themselves. The concept follows Hendry's Henderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market, a free immersive greenhouse installation staged at Central Harbourfront during Art Month in March 2026 to mark Henderson Land's 50th anniversary. While the March installation showcased 26 varieties of plush florals, Time Out reports the permanent Central shop is expected to expand that range, with the possibility of Hong Kong-exclusive designs introduced over time. Pricing is set to match New York, at US$75 per stem, with the shop's loyalty-style incentive of a free tenth flower.
The location is no accident: Aberdeen Street sits in the thick of Central's gallery and design district, within walking distance of Tai Kwun, PMQ and the boutiques of Hollywood Road. Getting to the Cj Hendry Flower Shop
Aberdeen Street runs on the slope just below PMQ, in the heart of Central and Sheung Wan's overlapping arts district. From Sheung Wan MTR Station, take Exit E2 and walk uphill towards Hollywood Road, around 8–10 minutes; from Central Station, Exit C connects via Ice House Street and the escalator system. Pair a visit with an afternoon browsing PMQ's own boutiques and studios, or a wider loop through Tai Kwun.
