What's changed at Café Landmark?
Café Landmark has been a fixture of Central's Landmark Atrium since 2001, prized for its open-air balcony overlooking the mall's ground-floor fountain and shoppers below. The reopened room trades its old look for a sun-drenched, Tuscan-inspired terrace aesthetic in a warmer, earthier palette that lets in more natural light. The signature balcony and the restaurant's intimate booth seating both remain, so regulars will still find the people-watching vantage point that made the original popular.
The kitchen has also had a rethink. Where the previous menu leaned classically French, the new version weaves Japanese influences into that same foundation — a shift that reflects a wider trend across Landmark's dining venues towards Franco-Japanese cross-pollination.
What's on the new menu?
Returning favourites get an upgrade rather than a rewrite: the Boston lobster spaghetti and fresh crab meat au gratin both remain on the menu, joined by decadent sharing plates such as a table-side Dover sole meunière, carved and finished in front of diners. A new table-side dessert trolley offers a rotating mix-and-match pastry selection, and mixologist Kenzo Lee has introduced the restaurant's first-ever bespoke cocktail programme to match the room's new terrace mood.

Is it worth a visit?
Central has plenty of newer, flashier French-Japanese openings, but Café Landmark's advantage is its address and its history — a genuine all-day room with a 25-year track record, now refreshed rather than replaced.
