In short: Hong Kong's Christmas season runs through December 2026. Giant trees and light shows around Tsim Sha Tsui and Central, plus festive markets and menus citywide.
WinterFest is Hong Kong at its most sparkling — the skyline strung with lights, a giant Christmas tree on the TST harbourfront, and Statue Square in Central dressed for the season. It is free, walkable and very photogenic.

What to expect
Expect a towering harbourfront Christmas tree, the Statue Square light installation in Central, decorated malls competing for the best display, and the nightly Symphony of Lights given a festive twist. Most of it is free to wander.
Tips for visitors
Go on a weeknight to dodge the heaviest crowds, and pair the TST lights with the Star Ferry across the harbour for the classic skyline view. Mall window displays in Central and Causeway Bay are worth a detour.
