What we need from you
- Real photos of the venue (not AI or stock). Paste a public Drive, Dropbox or Imgur link. We will ask after review if you cannot share yet.
- Official website when you have one, plus accurate phone, WhatsApp and socials (Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu).
- Clear address, MTR exit / walk tip, hours, price range and a short factual description.
- Booking or reservation link and OpenRice URL help us verify - preferred, not required.

Is the listing really free?
Yes. Basic directory listings are free while we grow coverage. Every submission is reviewed. Approval is not guaranteed. Paid featured placement is separate and comes later via Advertising.
Will you publish my submission as written?
Usually no. We edit for house style, British spelling and accuracy. We may trim marketing language and ask for real photos if the link is missing.
What if my venue is already on Yum Cha Now?
Choose “Claim existing listing” and paste the /venues/ URL. We update that page instead of creating a duplicate.
Do I need a website and photos?
Strongly preferred. Real venue photos (not AI or stock) and an official website help readers and listing quality. You can still submit without them; we may request both before or after publish.
