Kit Reynolds-Wong
Kit Reynolds-Wong has covered Hong Kong sport since 2008, when he joined the South China Morning Post as a stringer reporting on the Sevens, AFC Champions League fixtures and Happy Valley Wednesdays. The grandson of a Happy Valley racing trainer, he grew up between Mid-Levels and Sussex and played number 8 for South Island School.
He went freelance in 2019 and has since filed for the BBC, ESPN and The Athletic, and ghost-written memoirs for Hong Kong sporting figures. He treats every sport with the same seriousness — whether it's the politics of the HKFA or a Sunday card at Sha Tin.
Kit writes with the dry authority of a press-box regular, treating Hong Kong sport as a genuine cultural pillar rather than a niche.
